A Morning With Grandma & Painting Fun

Leon,
This morning Grandma picked you and I up to go run some errands. You got really excited because you love going "Vroom" in Grandma's big red truck. After getting all of our errands taken care of Grandma decided to take us out for lunch. When asked what you wanted to eat you of course said "Fries!" As we waited for our food you got to color. As you were coloring your children's menu you began finding all of the letter "o"s, determined to find them all. You are getting so smart and learning a lot lately!
When we finished eating we could tell you were still full of energy and not ready for a nap yet. We took you to the park to let you play and run out your energy. You had lots of fun playing on all the fun park equipment. Soon we could tell you were getting tired and a bit grumpy, so we got back in the truck and went for a drive until you fell asleep. We had a fun morning with Grandma, but it was time for a nap.
While you were napping I thought I would get started on painting the last coat of white paint on the doors of your baby sister's room. Before I could finish you woke up and insisted that you needed to paint too. I didn't have any paint that was safe for you to play with, so I made some. I used the same recipe as I do when making your bathtub finger paints. You sat happily in your highchair and painted a beautiful picture for Daddy while I finished painting the doors.
What a busy day we had today, but we got a lot accomplished and had fun too! I love you Leon!
